The idea
Since Kama was becoming more and more popular, Dieuwke wanted a new logo. Because a feather fan really represents Burlesque, we wanted to keep this idea in the logo.
At first, we wanted to kick it up a notch, and add a lot of colours to the logo by recreating her favourite peacock fan. Turns out, that the logo wouldn’t be very clear with all the colours, so we just made a pink fan with Kama and the tagline underneath it.
We’ve been looking quite a while for a good font to use with the logo, since we wanted the font to represent Burlesque. Eventually we came by the Parisian font and immediately used it in the logo, as well as on the website.
